String.Io is the new installment of the popular .io multiplayer games, sharing both their minimalistic graphics and their addictive mechanics.
The premise in String.Io is very simple: you need to color in as much of the map as you can while avoiding dying at all costs. To do this, you will have to gradually cut out small sections of the map, which will change to your color once you close both ends of the circle you've been drawing. You are safe when you stay within your color. But, if you leave this comfort zone, the other players can 'kill' you off the map by cutting your trail before you make it back to your safe area. If you enter an enemy's colored area, you can steal their territory until you achieve your goal: becoming the player with the most colored territory on the map.
Risk-taking is rewarded in String.Io, as the more you try to color in one go, the more likely it is that someone will kill you. And, again, the more colored area you have, the easier it is for other players to steal some without you realizing it.
At the end of each game, depending on your position on the leaderboard, you will be rewarded with coins that you can use to customize your character with new colors or skins.
But, of course, the most attractive thing about String.Io is that you can play with friends. This, added to the achievements system and its addictive gameplay, makes String.Io a great contender for the next game you play on your phone.
